The Music Partnership Recorder Festival takes place at the Victoria Hall in Hanley during the Spring Term. The Festival aims to inspire and raise standards of the young recorder players, develop pupils’ performance skills, provide the opportunity to perform to an audience in a prestigious venue and to encourage membership of recorder ensembles.
The first festival took place in 1998 and the size of the festival has grown considerably since that first performance. The festival now includes schools from Staffordshire, Stoke-on-Trent and Telford and Wrekin.
