Funded Lessons for Children in Care
City Music Service works in partnership with the Virtual School.
We provide the opportunity for children in care to start instrumental or vocal lessons. Funding is provided by the Virtual School for lessons during Years 4, 5 and 6 for Stoke-on-Trent children.

Bursary Support
Our partner, Friends of Staffordshire’s Young Musicians (FOSYM) makes grants to Staffordshire Schools and actively seeks other funding streams that can cover a variety of music activities and projects in schools.
Friends of Stoke City Music Service
City Music Service is generously supported by the Friends of Stoke City Music Service. The Friends support us with buying music and equipment, staff events and concerts and so much more. They have termly meetings at the Bridge Centre and are always keen to welcome new members.
